(Ummmm.... WTF!)This book wrecked me, in the best and worst ways. From the very first page,
I felt every ounce of Lauren’s fear, strength, and heartbreak. It’s dark, it’s
twisted, and it doesn’t let you breathe.
The story ripped my heart out and stomped on it.
A woman, pregnant and terrified, trapped in a nightmare she can’t escape. Every
page bled emotion, pain, defiance, desperation, and yet, through it all, she
never stopped fighting. I don’t think I’ve ever admired a character more for
her will to survive.
This isn’t your typical dark romance. It’s raw,
disturbing, and painfully real. There’s no softening the edges here, no
pretending evil doesn’t exist. But that’s what makes it unforgettable. When I
finished, I just sat there, numb, gutted, and in awe.
If you want something that will challenge you,
break you, and still linger in your mind long after the last page... this is
that book.
