Rejected by Jaymin Eve
Synopsis -
My Review:
I have to get this review out right now before I dive
headfirst into book two, because I already know once I start, I won’t be able
to stop, and I don’t want to mix up my thoughts!
But damn. This book was everything!
Let’s start with the FMC, because wow. I live for a
fierce, sharp-tongued heroine who refuses to back down, and this one owned
every single page she was on. Her attitude, her strength, that fire in her, it
was perfection. I’ll admit, I’ve never really been a fan of wolf shifter
romances. They usually feel repetitive to me (don’t come for me!). But this?
This book completely changed my mind.
What hooked me was the world-building. It wasn’t
your typical one-pack, one-alpha setup. Instead, it felt epic and layered—multiple
worlds, gods playing twisted games, divine vengeance shaping
destinies. The lore, the myths, the creatures, everything was so rich and
imaginative that I couldn’t get enough. I wanted to stay in this world forever,
just exploring all the strange realms and their secrets.
And the characters, my god, the
characters. Every single one of them jumped off the page with so much
personality and life. Jaymin has this incredible gift for crafting characters
who each feel distinct and memorable, like an all-star cast that you can’t help
but get emotionally attached to.
I also listened to the audiobook, and it was phenomenal. The narration
brought another layer of intensity and emotion to the story, making the whole
experience even more addictive.
Honestly, I could keep raving, but book two is sitting right here staring at
me, and I need to know what happens
next. If you’re on the fence about shifter romances, or you think you’ve read
them all before, trust me, you haven’t read one like this.
Now excuse me while I disappear into book two!
Here are some of favorite lines from the book:
Yeah, that's it. I thought I tagged more but I think book two got all of them. I forget that people love seeing and hearing what quotes you love from books. And I try, I really do but I get swept up into the story and forget!
