RIGHT NOW! Neverthorn has officially claimed the top spot as the best book I've
read all year, and honestly? It wasn't even close.
From the very first page, Shannon Mayer
throws you into the world of Harlow, a sharp, witty, 29-year-old thief on the
run from her past. No damsels in distress here! Harlow knows exactly what she
wants, and she's not letting ANYONE stand in her way, not even the magic school
from her past that's suddenly hot on her trail.
What makes this book stand out from every
other fantasy romance on the shelf? Everything! While it has the bones of a
romance, it completely shatters expectations. The humor and wit are off the
charts, we're talking laugh-out-loud, kicking-your-feet, "I can't
breathe" levels of funny.
And the love interest? Only Harlow's oldest
rival, gorgeous, infuriating, and absolutely impossible to ignore. Their
enemies-to-lovers tension is chef's kiss, even if Harlow refuses to
