 Claws & Cocktails

by Tabitha Slick

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finally, a fantasy romance with a heroine my age! Zera, a nearly forty-year-old pixie and single mom, is done with men… until a blind date turns into a spy mission and a fake marriage with a dangerously charming werewolf.

I loved how real Zera felt, her struggles, sass, and strength made her so relatable. The single-mom angle brought a refreshing twist to the usual fated-mates trope. And Maverick? Total bad boy energy wrapped around a golden-retriever heart. Their chemistry crackled, their banter was perfection, and watching Zera step into her power was incredibly satisfying. Overall, Claws & Cocktails is a steamy, fun, midlife fantasy romp that feels like a well-earned treat for grown-up romantasy fans.
