Alchemy & Ashes delivers exactly the kind of romantasy fix you’ve been craving. It’s marketed as enemies-to-lovers, but honestly? Maybe that’s true for Sylvie, because Ronan was gone for her the moment he felt her emotions through that door. Their connection was magnetic, intense, and impossible to look away from. The pacing? Perfect. The action? Nonstop. The plot? Oh, it’s plotting. And when the spice finally hit, whew, it was exactly the right moment, and it delivered! Also, can we talk about the shadow mommy energy? I loved Sylvie’s empathy and her incredible growth from start to finish. She’s powerful, flawed, and so easy to root for. I’m not just excited for book two, I’m fiending for it.
